Hi, I’m Ash
Ash Marx West is an independent fantasy author who has been dreaming up magical worlds since she was a child. She lives within the lush, green kingdom of Arkansas, in the tallest tower of a palace made of solid quartz crystal with her husband and two perfect dogs. She studied English at Henderson State University, and when she isn’t writing, you can find her reading, taking long walks in nature, playing chess, casting spells, or hunting crystals in the Ouachita Mountains.
I’ve loved fantasy since the moment I could understand the concept. My very first story was written when I was six. It’s called Cleocatra, and follows a royal mummy cat from ancient Egypt in her luxurious journey in the afterlife.
